Ana Grande Cros
Master's Researcher · Likertas
Ana graduated in Psychology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and is currently in her second year of the Master's in Methodology of Behavioural and Health Sciences (UAM-UCM-UNED). For two years she collaborated at UAM on projects focused on cognitive and social processes, specifically studying metacognitive aspects related to attitude change and identity. Her first scientific article is currently in press, and she has participated in several international congresses presenting the results of her work.
Current work
Ana is working on an interdisciplinary project that brings together researchers from psychology, computer science (AI and Machine Learning) and private companies. The project's aim is to understand the characteristics and competencies that facilitate protection against virtual threats.
Motivations and inspirations
Although she has never felt a clear vocation toward any applied field of psychology, Ana's real motivation is to explore the human mind and to keep learning throughout her life. She is especially interested in how data and methodology can help us understand — even partially — the complexity of people, and enjoys working on projects that connect psychology with other disciplines. She aspires to a scientific career that combines rigour and creativity, designing or improving tools that expand our understanding of human behaviour.
